James Todd Spader is an American actor and producer. He has portrayed goofy characters in films like the Sex TV series, Lies and Videotape, the action-sci-fi Stargate, the controversial psychological thriller Crash, The Erotic Romance Secretary and Steven's Lincoln. Spielberg. He also voiced and performed the motion recording of the protagonist of Ultron in Avengers: Age of Ultron. His television roles include lawyer Alan Shore in the final season of The Practice and its spin-off Boston Legal, and Robert California in the comedy-fantasy comedy The Office. He is currently playing the role of the top criminal transferred by the FBI to Raymond "Red" Reddington in the NBC crime drama The Blacklist for which he has won two Golden Globe Award nominations.
