Aubrey Anderson-Emmons is an American actress. She has starred on the show Modern Family.
She is the daughter of Amy Anderson, a comedian, actress, and writer, and Kent Emmons, a media entrepreneur. Aubrey’s mother was born in Seoul, South Korea, and was adopted by American parents, and raised in Minnesota; her adoptive parents are said to be of Swedish descent. Her father is American.
Aubrey’s paternal grandfather is the son of Walter Alden Emmons and Ruth Isadora Tracy. Walter was born in Russell, Illinois, the son of William Alden Emmons and Estella Lindsay. Ruth was born in Lawrenceville, Illinois, the daughter of William “Will” Tracy, whose mother was of French-Canadian descent; and of Essie A. Seed.
Aubrey’s paternal grandmother is the daughter of Robert James Trottier and Elizabeth “Betty” Macroe. Robert was born in Laona, Wisconsin, the son of Wilfred John Trottier, whose parents were French-Canadian; and of Mabel Ellen Neddo, whose maternal grandparents were Dutch. Betty was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the daughter of Charles Macroe and Mary Lehman.
