The couple has a one-year-old son together, which has slowed down the wedding planning.
"We are seriously connected. Before you have a child, marriage is the ultimate commitment and promise to one another, and then once you have a child, it's like, ‘Oh, we're committed and promised already,'" she said about her long engagement.

The couple split in 2010, then shortly afterwards they got back together. They have a one-year-old daughter together.
