Karina Pasian is an American singer, songwriter, and pianist.
Her father, Rafael Pasian, is a producer. She has stated that her first language is Russian, and that she can sing in English, Spanish, Italian, Arabic, Turkish, and French. She learned some of the languages while living in a multicultural neighborhood in New York.
Armenia was under Soviet rule until 1991, which is perhaps why Karina speaks Russian.
She is sometimes compared to Alicia Keys.
